HANDMADE PURE BEESWAX POLISH WITH TURPENTINE.

Beeswax with turpentine has been used as a traditional polish since before the beginning of the seventeenth century. Beeswax polish is ideal for use on absorbent woods, especially when the wood has no other finish. The turpentine feeds the wood thus preventing dryness, whilst the beeswax forms a protective layer on the wood's surface.

Coloured beeswaxes can be used to disguise minor damage to existing finishes and to help prevent them from drying and cracking.

M. E. L. produce handmade pure beeswax polish with turpentine in a variety of colours:-

• NEUTRAL - ideal for use on light woods such as sycamore, ash and satinwood or on sealed woods to preserve the existing finish.
  
  

• TAWNY - ideal for use on medium brown woods such as beech, pitch pine and light oak or to disguise damage to medium brown finishes.
  
  

• BAY - ideal for use on reddish-brown woods such as mahogany, walnut and rosewood or to disguise damage to reddish-brown finishes.
  
  

• PEAT - ideal for use on dark woods such as aged oak or to disguise damage to dark finishes.
